The Seattle Seahawks are based in Seattle, Washington, and are are members of the West Division of the NFC. The Seahawks joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Marshawn Lynch

Marshawn Terrell Lynch (born April 22, 1986) is a running back for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at California, where he became the school's second all-time career rusher.

Lynch is nicknamed "Beast Mode" for his aggressive running style and penchant for breaking tackles.

Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson was born November 29, 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio and currently plays for the Seattle Seahawks as quarterback. In 2012, he was selected by the team with the 12th pick in the third round (75th overall) of the NFL Draft. Wilson played football and baseball for NC State. In 2008 he was named the ACC Rookie of the Year in football and became the first freshman quarterback to receive first team All-ACC honors. Wilson also played minor league baseball for the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2010 and the Asheville Tourists in 2011 as a second baseman.

Richard Sherman

Richard Kevin Sherman (born March 30, 1988) is an American football cornerback with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round (154th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. Sherman played college football at Stanford as a wide receiver and cornerback for the Cardinal. Sherman and the other current Seahawks defensive backs have dubbed themselves the "Legion of Boom".
