Chrisley Knows Best

Show Premise:

"Chrisley Knows Best" is a reality television series featuring millionaire Todd Chrisley and his family. The show takes place in Suwanee, north of Atlanta. A “patriarch of perfection,” Todd runs his family just like his business – with an iron fist – and micromanages every move and expenditure made by each member of the Chrisley clan. But behind the façade of the family’s fairy-tale like 30,000 square-foot home, real-life issues and lots of laugh-out-loud drama unfolds.

Production History:

The show debuted on March 11, 2014 for 8 episodes. It was successful enough for the USA Network to order a 12-episode second season.

What really attracted me and my husband regarding your show is the family value of the Chrisley's. Todd is tough but the love for his family brings out the best on every episode. Todd also sets good example that in order to have nice things you have to work hard for it.

Hi my name is kristina louden. I am a mother of an 8 year old and i do my best at raising her. We are without a car and i work 50 to 60 hrs a week as an asst. Manager at dominos. Everything in my life, i have worked hard for. It isnt much but i wasnt handed anything. My mother and father werent there growing up, so i didnt have the best of alot of things. Regardless of all of that i am very strong and determined to finish my goals in life. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment at 9335 farish dr. Apt. 37 louisville ky. 40299. I watch all you're episodes and love your family. I need help on getting a car even if its only a 2000 dollar car. I just need something besides the bus fare to get around for my child and i. I want to finish my nurseing and make a better future for my child then i ever had but i cant seem to get a break in anything i do. I was going to try and use my tax money for a car, and hopefully i can. I love your show and wish i could have been as succesful as u have. I hope u have a wonderful day.

Today was the first time I watched your television show, although I am impressed with your lack of tact and blunt honesty to say that you have the same problems that someone who makes $40,000 a year was almost like a slap in the face. I realize that families with children do have a similarity to us "commoners" but not as devastating.

My husband who is a war veteran and myself recently moved to a safer community for our children are now in the position of not being able to afford groceries, this is not only embarassing but heartbreaking to admit. I have applied to over 25 jobs prior to moving here with the promise that employment would be bountiful, I am a registered nurse with 15 years experience and cannot get a job. I am busing tables making 2.45 an hour with no light at the end of the tunnel.

I do hope that you continue to place your family above all others and good luck in your new fashion industry.

Dear Julie, I'm a 51 years old and was just diagnosed with DCIS early-stage breast cancer. I will have a double mastectomy soon. I was hoping you could offer some advice about how to stay strong and not be afraid of surgery. I'm actually a Registered Nurse but anxiety has set in. I would really appreciate any advice about before and after surgery that helped you. Thank you so much.

I have a 13 year old special needs son that loves to watch your show. He was 15 weeks early weighing only 1 pound 7.4 ounces had a stage 4 intraventricular brain hemorrhage on the right side of his brain. Year to date he has had 33 surgeries. 20 of which were on his head at different times for shunt revisions and placements. He has had 10 kidney stones in the past three years. Had a four and a half hour surgery in 2013 on both hips legs and feet to help him walk better. He has cerebral palsy on his left side. That surgery worked wonderfully until he grew some more and gained some weight and now he is in a wheel chair facing surgery again in 2017 on his left foot just to make it braceable to take a few steps to transfer from wheel chair to bed and tub for a bath. He is legally blind by the states definitions. But he sees pretty well. We do have some behavioral issues but I am working on trying to get him to the right doctor for that. I really don't want him to have to take a bunch of different medications for something that one would do fine. Just gotta find the right one. Doctors have told me he will never be able to manage his own affairs. It is just me and him mostly. Father is not in the picture. My mother is 79 and I am doing what I can to help her. I have one of my brothers living with us and he helps as much as he can. He has his own health issues and I'm trying to help him also. For he has been clean for a little over a year now. No I'm not asking for any assistance. I will make things work month to month as I always have. Only thing I would like to ask for for my son is an autographed picture of you and your family if that would be possible. Our address is 901 Gail Street Dekalb TX 75559. My son's name is Aubrey James Edward Blake. Thank you for at least reading this.

Your show about your daughters car accident was horrific. But when you said God did not put you here to bury a child, you just slapped me in the face. I buried a son 23 yrs old. He lived 18 months with a feeding tube and round the clock care from the entire family. We refused to put him in a nursing home. He aspirated fluids from his stomach into his Lungs. He was an Honor Student in Engineering. Was excepted to MIT in Mass. Do you think God loves you more than any parent that has lost a child???

Submitted by Trecia Sullivan (not verified) on

He died May 24, 1992, Accident 30 Dec 1990. Not his fault, Vehicle hydroplaned on a road he was not familiar with. Trust me I tried to take my own life. But my belief and my family carried this crazy mother for 2 years. I had 4 children and he was everyone's favorite even among his sisters and brother. So your belief in God must be much less than mine. I pray you never bury a Child. And he was 6'2", Blackest Hair and Paul Newman Blue eyes. He was beautiful. I hold on to God everyday. You may need to have a talk with God. I just prayed for you Sir. And everyone knows she can't drive why put her on the road to possibly injure someone else's child?????

I can't stand these kids. Spoiled stupid. Not to mention their "lie and deny until you die" remarks about not accepting responsibility or accountability for their failures at being decent human beings. It's absolutely a shame. I don't think I could trust a single person in that family - just horrible people.

I can NOT believe Todd said "that God did not put me here on earth to moarn the death of a child". That is such an insult to every parent who has lost a child in a car accident. Most are totally devestated n would not say that this was God's plan for them

I have tried to watch this show several times and even though this family claims to be Christian they used terminology such as 'damn' 'ass' and 'douchebag'. None of that is Christian. When it comes to intelligence Todd Chrisley and his son Chase are two of the biggest idiots I have ever listened to. Neither one of them can speak proper English. Anyone who would wish for someone so stupid to be a president has a problem. Todd and Chase both act like gay men. Todd is so effeminate and Chase is the biggest sissy I have ever seen. They are afraid of bugs and getting dirty and worry more about their hair and clothes than a lot of women. Neither one of them can even change a tire on a car . It's no wonder we have a country full of sissy boys. All of their children are lazy and think they are too good for certain things and jobs. Money seems to be the most important thing to all of them. Arrogance and pompousness abounds in that family.

I love your parenting skills, how you guys teach your kids the important things in life and that you care so much to teach them respect and wisdom, how you care so much about each other happiness safety. Most wealthy families don't take the time to give back or teach their children respect and carringness. Your family is one of my altime heroes. God bless you and your family. Love you all! On the episode that Savannah bought her new car, I think it was very disrespectful for you to say, "bye bitches", to your mom, wife, and daughter. It was not funny, and it does not become you.
However, I still love your show, and I will just mark that as a lapse in judgement.

Todd, my family and I love watching your show and I even call my 10 year old daughter "Savannah" because they act so much alike. I love your sense of family, faith, and kindness; I would like to ask you if you would like to pay it forward and help my family purchase a home. My husband and I are both educators and work hard and would just like to be given the chance to buy a safe home to raise our children in. We would only need to borrow 250,000 to find a house and could pay you back monthly. You could see it as an investment opportunity.. Thanks 1-(936) 205-5427 Nacogdoches, Texas

I have been a fan for some time now. We have a family of 6, two girls , two boys. We believe and appreciate the way you raise your family. We totally need an intervention. I have worked for my employer for 20 years now and my husband had to medically retire disabled in his field. We have a budgeted income, both girls are adults, 20 &. 23, going to college and two boys, 13 & 10. After all these years of working so hard to make our children's lives better than what we had we are still living paycheck to paycheck. So we need your help and a direction to success. We have worked to hard to fail and want to make sure we can support our children to be successful. I had my real estate license at one time but had to return to working so many hours at my current employer that I was spread so thin I couldn't manage. We want the American dream and with your help and direction, I believe we could reach a new level of success. I know you must be a busy family but your success and the success you are passing on to your children is what we desire. I hope to hear from you, sincerely Marsha from Bakersfield California

I love all of you, you are all wonderful, beautiful, intelligent and down to earth. My question is this: Why does Lindsie always look miserable? Even when Lindsie smiles it looks as though it is painful for her. The rest of the family is bubbly and upbeat, but Lindsie looks as if she is carrying the earth on her shoulders. Very painful to watch.

I live to watch y'all. I love you all. But, why are you so mean and rude to Chase? Yes, he's a kid but a good one. My Mom did the same thing to me and I didn't speak to her for 20 years. If you want a child to be better you have to encourage him not put him down continually!! Savannah is beautiful but she treats him like he is nothing and she is everything. Stop it!! You may regret his reaction one day.

Don't you guys portray yourselves as hardcore Christians? Why are you talking to an earthly physchic and believing him? Doesn't that contradict your doctrine?

Submitted by Ruth Radcliff (not verified) on

Todd and Julie, I never watch the medium, Tyler Henry, but because you both were on there with him, I was curious. I was both sad and confused that you both, as Christians, would embrace this, as we know that the Bible speaks against it. I DO believe there are those that "believe" they are speaking to the dead for our benefit, but do you not think that satan can do almost ANYTHING to pull us away from putting ALL our faith and trust in God? I believe he is using sweet, wonderful people such as Tyler, to draw believers away from the things only God can know, making us feel more in "control" and not needing to rely on God for our answers. As Christians, I hope you will maybe look at this topic, and work towards turning people AWAY from mediums, and turning TOWARDS the Bible. Love you guys and love your show!

Hi my name is Bryce I have a sister named Brittany and a brother named Matthew the youngest is 11 years old. My mom watches your show constantly and she does her very best not to miss an episode. My mom has spent the last 9 days in the hospital with congestive heart failure. She is a single mother and tries her best to pay the bills, put food on the table, gives us clothes, and provides shelter. The last nine days have been horrible without her. we have had to make it on our own and eat leftover Foods. We have set up a GoFundMe account for her to help keep the lights on and water on in the house. We are in desperate need to take the burden off my mom's shoulders to provide meals for us. We have been eating at the hospital cafeteria off of what the hospital provides. Could you please desperately help us and donate to our moms funding so I can provide food for my little brother and a roof over his head while my mom is sick. Thank you.

I really love to watch you guys everyday I can but I puzzled. Wealth is a luxury, your kids doesn't understand that money can't cure cancer and you can loose it all in a day! They have no respect, doesn't know what helping out around the house is(grayson refuses chores) he talks back and there's NO disaplend no consequences for bad behavior! Chase also lies and steals dads clothes! Nobody's had to earn a dime of their own ever. Never had a job. Lazy, no idea of what a simple chore is, they don't even know what a washing machine is. So is everybody going to have mansions and maids at 22? Even if I was wealthy my kids still wouldn't be as selfish inconsiderate or stupid as your are probably going to appear to the average man. Will they even know how to relate or be friends with middle class people?
