The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The team has played in four Super Bowls, but lost in each one. The Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season. They currently participate in the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC); prior to that, the Vikings were in the NFC Central Division, and before that they were in the NFL's Western Conference Central Division.

In May 2012, a bill was passed to build a new stadium for the team at the site of the Metrodome. The new stadium is expected to be open for the 2016 season. The Vikings play their home games at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota while the new stadium is being built.

I have been a Minnesota Vikings fan since their beginning year! I was 10 years old at the time and living in Duluth. My Dad was a friend of one of the original owner Ole Haugsrud. I am so proud of the team this year and especially proud of Adrian Peterson! His courage and faith in the face of adversity shows what a wonderful human being he truly is! What Adrian has endured these past few years is unspeakable, but he still persevered and overcame all obstacles!! You are what a real human being should be from head to toe Adrian! Go VIKINGS and whatever is the outcome I will always be your fan!!!!

What were the powers at be thinking when they gave Kirk Cousins that kind of contract. W32-L35-T2. What has he ever done? Case Keenum may not have been the first choice but could have gotten 2-3 or more linemen or ? for that kind of $ spent on ( according to his record) a loser!
