The Golden State Warriors are a professional basketball team based in Oakland, California. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. The team was established in 1946 as the Philadelphia Warriors based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a founding member of the Basketball Association of America (BAA), and it won the inaugural 1947 BAA Finals that is now considered the first NBA Championship.
In 1962, the franchise relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and was renamed as the San Francisco Warriors until 1971, when it changed its geographic moniker to Golden State, California's state nickname. Since 1972, the team's home court has been Oracle Arena in Oakland.
The Warriors have won four NBA championships. They most recently won the NBA championship by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 Finals.

Go warriors: We are guardians of a child that loves the Warriors and Steph Curry. Wed. March 27th he will get to watch warriors in Memphis. Hes got bands on his braces in blue and yellow for this event. Which leads to why I'm writing. This child is blind in one eye due to early 6 month birth and positive for meth from his biological mother. This blind eye caused him loss of depth perception yet LOVES to play basketball. I noticed he pushes on his mouth guard and sometimes right out of his mouth onto the floor. It seems he sees Steph Curry pushing on his. Perhaps Steph and others can be more aware of this. :) I know it may seem trivial to some but always remember kids are watching and parents are cringing when we see the mouth not protected. Thanks for your time its worth a try.

I love the Warriors so much. I have watched all the games on my tv with my dad. My dad was the one who got me into watching the Warriors, and I just can't thank him enough. I have been inside Oracle Arena 4 times, and I hope to go to a Finals game this year. There is a lesson I took away from watching the Warriors, and it's to never give up. The Warriors kept practicing and practicing until they got better. They never gave up and persevered through it even though they met a barrier. They overcame it. I wish that I could thank the Warriors for teaching me that lesson especially since I am a special needs adult with ADHD. Shout out to the Warriors for being the best team! I love you guys!

In the modern NBA era when it comes to championships 6 is the number. It would be great if KD stays. He get a max contract, I think it would be a good idea to be a 6th man. Come off the bench lead the second squad in out playing the first squad. We never seen that in basketball (a set of two starting fives on one team) and it would prolong his career (Louis Williams). No one would think less of KD coming off the bench. After all he is KD! Don't leave a sure thing for a maybe. At least get one for the thumb (rings). I'm a voice crying in the wilderness (Atlanta, Ga. Hawks😵). KD you are a part of a once in a lifetime experience, something special. Stay with GS😇

First time to a basketball game. Live in Boca Raton Fl but love the warriors. Was standing right in front of Jorden Poole when he exited the arena in MIA and wouldn't just say hi, literally stood in front of me and nothing. Bro I'm cheering for you, my mom took the time and money to get those tickets. I still had a good time thanks to my mom, great game!! GO WRRIORS!!
