The Cleveland Cavaliers (also known as the Cavs) are an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They began playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 1970 as an expansion team. They play their home games at Quicken Loans Arena, which they share with the Arena Football League's Cleveland Gladiators and the American Hockey League's Lake Erie Monsters. They play in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference, the only remaining charter member of the division (all the other Central Division teams joined later from the now-defunct Midwest Division).

The Cavaliers have featured many NBA stars during its history, including draft picks turned All-Stars Austin Carr, Brad Daugherty, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Mark Price, LeBron James, and Kyrie Irving. Past NBA greats such as Nate Thurmond, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, and Shaquille O'Neal also played in Cleveland (albeit near the end of their careers).

The team has had moderate success in its history, winning three Central Division Championships (1976, 2009, 2010), an Eastern Conference Championship in 2007, and 18 total playoff seasons. However, the team has also had a number of dubious distinctions, such as former owner Ted Stepien's tenure, which led the NBA to create a rule regulating the trading of draft picks ("The Stepien Rule"), and a 26-game losing streak in 2010–11, which tied the record for the longest losing streak in major American professional sports

Thank you very much Lebron James for all you have done both on the court and in families and childrens lives in your hometown. Thank you to the whole team in believing in Cleveland and Ohio for us as fans. Thank you to your devotion, time, patience, graciousness to your fans. I'm a home health nurse and have seen and heard of many of my patients family/friends that have benefitted from Mr. James devotion to helping out his home town. I've personally enjoyed seeing Mr. James grow as a player and a man. The teams loves knows no bounds. I love to see the team finally come together as one, grow, and keep growing by learning from their triumps and tribulations both on and off the court. Thank you from the bottom of my heart in staying loyal to all us CAVS fans and never giving up on our love for all of you. One more thing; CAVS ALL IN CAVS ALL "WIN"- from one of many of your humble devoted fans.

DON'T EVER LET THEM THINK THEY CAN WIN - THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CPNSTRUCTION -- SOMETIMES WE NEED THE STRENGTH OF AN ANVIL BUT AT TIMES WE NEED TO BE THE HAMMER -- WE CAN WATCH THINGS HAPPEN OR WE CAN MAKE THEM HAPPEN -- CHAMPIONS ARE OFTEN MADE WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING -- YOU MUST WORK FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS WORTHWHILE -- SUCCESS COMES IN CANS NOT IN CAN NOTS -- HUASTLE DOESN'T SHOW-UP IN A SCOREBOOK BUT EVERYONE CAN SEE IT -- IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME and UP TO US -- NO ONE CAN BEAT US IN OUR OWN HOUSE -- VICTORY BELONG TO THOSE OF US THAT KNOW WE CAN WIN -- IF A STUMBLING BLOCK IS PLACED BEFORE YOU TURN IT INTO A STEPPING STONE -- IF YOU DON'T THINK YOU CAN WIN YOU PROBABLY WON'T. Make Warriors an outside shooting team deny access to the middle. Pick and poke at ball try to distrupt dribbling cleanly. On offense make clear lane for man with the ball to the basket. Do not pass into traffic. penetrate to basket for lay ups or pull ups , do not blow cribs. Keep as many men as defensive team around basket for offensive rebounds. Hit open man be ready to receive pass in any offensive situation especially when your man is attacking basket..

I like the idea of trading Kevin Love. There where reports that had Love going to the Pelicans for the 4th overall pick in the draft. That would allow the CAVS to draft DeAndre Hunter. CAVS could then trade the 5th pick with Chicago for their 7th pick and Zach LaVine - SG/PG. CAVS would give them one of our players with an expiring contract. This would allow CHI to take Garland at #5 whom they really want. Phoenix would then take the other PG at #6 allowing Culver to fall to #7. Since ATL really wants Culver, CAVS could trade them both the 7th and 26th picks for the 8th and 17th picks. CAVS could either take Jaxson Hays at #8 or (I Prefer) trade one or both of those picks to team/s that would offer an unprotected 1st round in 2020 or 2021 (both drafts loaded with top talent). Also, JR Smith may be traded to WAS or MIA for CAP relief allowing the CAVS the 9th or 13th overall pick in return and taking on a bad contract from team taking Smith. CAVS could either take Hays or trade that pick for a future unprotect 1st rounder maybe throwing in one or two of our expiring contracts and taking back a bad contract to allow the unprotected pick? If no Love trade, then trade him during the season and still try for a unprotect 1st round pick. CAVS could just let all the expiring contracts run out and go big on free agents next season? But, I love the idea of picking early in the 2020 and 2021 nba draft because of the elite talent that could make the CAVS a contented for a long time in the future! Thoughts? Whatever happens, Fans, be patient - the CAVS future should look very bright - just don't screw it up CAVS Personnel!
