Dear Mr. Robinson:
I am a sixth grader at Baker Central School, in Fort Morgan, Colorado. In my writing class, we are researching our choice of our future career. As part of the project, we are to write to someone in the field to learn more information about the position. I am hoping that you will be able to give me more information about my career choice by answering some questions.
The first thing I want to do is tell you a little about myself and what I am planning for my future job I want to do. The job I want is to actually play basketball, so I was hoping you could answer some questions to help me prepare. Some info about me is I play for the city team, and I am the starting point guard for my team. Also, I have played basketball since I was really little so that is part of the reason I like basketball so much. Another thing that makes me like basketball so much is I just really enjoy playing basketball it is my favorite sport at of all.
My first question is how much training you put in every week. Also what you eat to stay heathy? Another question, what you would do if you had a career ending injury? Would you try to stay in that career, or go to a different type of career? While I was researching this career, I found out that you need to be very good with your fundamentals and have good coordination also have consistency with your shot, is this true or not? Also how do you deal with the press and keep your cool when someone says something about you? I would also like to ask you how you adjust to your work. One last question I want to ask you is how many days you practice with your team a week?
Sincerely,
Beto Martinez
How it is to be a pro basketballer?
Hi Nate, I'm a year six student in New Zealand and I would like to ask some questions that if you answer them that would be awesome, like how much do you go to the gym/lift weights a week, how much practices in a week?, how much do you train by yourself and how do you prepare for a game thanks Nate Robinson p.s you are the best and explosive basketballer ever,
From Toby
