This policy does not apply to the practices of other companies that FanMail.com does not own or control, or people that FanMail.com does not employ or manage.

Information Collection for User Registration
FanMail.com collects a username and email address when you signup for a FanMail.com account. The username will be tied to any comments you post on the site while logged in. The email address is used for account verification. It is possible that FanMail staff may contact you via that address if there is some concern with your account - using it to post spam or inappropriate content. But there are no regular or expected emails which the site sends to registered users outside of password resetting.

FanMailDelivery Order Information
When customers use the FanMailDelivery service, personal information for email and postal contact is collected. The name and postal information is included in the letter to the celebrity/group which the message is to be sent to and will be used on the self-addressed, stamped envelope which is included in an autograph request purchase for the representative to mail back an autograph to the customer. The email address is used to communicate to the customer. Emails will be sent to confirm the order, pass along the tracking number for the letter, indicate that the postal service says it delivered the letter, and any possible issue which may arise during the processing/shipping of the letter which necessitates communicating with the customer. Order information will be deleted after a year has passed.

Children
FanMail.com is concerned about the safety and privacy of all its users, particularly children. For this reason, parents of children under the age of thirteen (13) who wish to allow their children access to the service must create a FanMail.com in their name, and then grant the child access to the account. FanMail.com recommends that the parent supervise and monitor their child's access to the account. Accordingly, as the legal guardian, it is your responsibility to determine whether any of the services provided are appropriate for your child.
