Rand Paul

Randal Howard "Rand" Paul was born on January 7, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Carol (née Wells) and Ron Paul, former Congressman and Presidential candidate from Texas. The Paul family moved to Lake Jackson, Texas, in 1968. Paul went to Brazoswood High School, was on the swimming team and played defensive back on the football team. Later, Paul attended Baylor University from fall 1981 to summer 1984. He was enrolled in the honors program at Baylor, and had scored approximately in the 90th percentile on the Medical College Admission Test.

Jeb Bush

Jeb Bush was born on February 11, 1953 in Midland, TX and is the second son of former President George H. W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush, and is the younger brother of former President George W. Bush. Bush grew up in Houston, Texas and attended the University of Texas, where he earned a degree in Latin American affairs. Bush moved to Florida in 1980 and in 1986 was named Florida's Secretary of Commerce, a position he held until resigning in 1988 to help his father's successful campaign for the Presidency.

Bobby Jindal

Piyush "Bobby" Jindal was born on June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, LA. He is the 55th and current Governor of Louisiana and the Vice Chairman of the Republican Governors Association. Jindal's parents are immigrants from India who came to the U.S. six months before he was born. Jindal attended Baton Rouge Magnet High School, graduating in 1988. As a teenager, he competed in tennis tournaments, and started a computer newsletter, a retail candy business, and a mail-order software company. He spent his free time working at the stands during LSU football games.

Rick Perry

James Richard Perry was born on March 4, 1950 in Paint Creek, Texas about 60 miles north of Abilene. Perry graduated from Paint Creek High School in 1968. He then attended Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, was elected senior class social secretary, and was also elected as one of A&M's five yell leaders. Perry graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in animal science. After he graduated, Perry was commissioned in the US Air Force and completed pilot training in February 1974.

George W. Bush

George Walker Bush (born July 6, 1946) is an American politician and businessman who served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009, and the 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. The eldest son of Barbara and George H. W. Bush, he was born in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduating from Yale University in 1968 and Harvard Business School in 1975, Bush worked in oil businesses. He married Laura Welch in 1977 and ran unsuccessfully for the House of Representatives shortly thereafter.
