Playing Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Thomas William Hiddleston was born on February 9, 1981, in Westminster, London, England. He attended Eton College and later the University of Cambridge and there began to appear on stage. In 2001, he grabbed his first role on TV in England, a small role in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby (2001). More work followed, including Conspiracy (2001) and The Gathering Storm (2002)—both of which aired on BBC and HBO.
Hiddleston performed in a West End revival of Ivanov opposite Kenneth Branagh in 2008. Branagh really liked his co-star's work so he cast Hiddleston in the 2011 film Thor as the evil brother Loki. He played the same role in The Avengers before being cast once again in the role for 2013's Thor: The Dark World. Hiddleston won the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight and Best Villain in 2013.

Hello there, I just would like to say thank you for your great work as an actor. Loki is my fave. comic book character cus I can kinda relate to him. But I thank you not only as a fan but as a friend too. I know it must be hard to be an actor with every single fan bothering you all the time wanting autographs and such, so even though you are awesome I wont bug you for any thing besides a reply so I know this reached you.
Even though I'm not an actor or actress I bet things get rather annoying at times with the paparazzi hounding you all the time but you deserve every bit of fame. none the less while I fan girl here I hope you have a wonderful day
