Jaden Smith was born on July 8, 1998 in Los Angeles, CA to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. At six, He made his acting debut in 2003 on "All of Us", a UPN show created by his parents based on their own blended family. Shortly after, Smith made his big screen debut in "Pursuit of Happyness" where he places Christopher Jr., a kid who is forced to live on the streets with his father. Smith's real-life father played the lead role. In 2008 he appeared opposite Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly in a remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still." In 2010, Smith starred alongside Jackie Chan in a remake of the 1984 coming-of-age classic "The Karate Kid." It was considered a box-office smash. He also recorded the film's theme song "Never Say Never," with Justin Bieber
