Christopher Robert "Chris" Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor and film director. Evans is best known for his superhero roles as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and Steve Rogers / Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Marvel's The Avengers (2012) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and will reprise the role in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Evans began his career on the television series Opposite Sex (2000) and later moved to film, appearing in Not Another Teen Movie (2001), Fierce People (2005), Sunshine (2007), Push (2009), The Losers (2010), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and What's Your Number? (2011).

I'm 67 years old and Chris Evans has been one of my favorite actors for years. Captain America is my favorite hero and the movie "Gifted" is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It makes me laugh and cry but it also makes my heart smile. Thank you Chris. Great job!

Chris! I've become a super huge fan of you after watching Infinity War! You were so cool out there especially during the Wakanda battle! When your scene came, I was throwing popcorns around because I was so excited to see Captain America! It really breaks my heart thinking that you'll leave MCU and that Avengers 4 will be your last film.... But, nevertheless, it's your decision. I'll never ever let any other superhero take a place in my heart as long as you are there!
