Short bio:

Ben Affleck (born August 15, 1972) is an actor and filmmaker. He won two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards.

Affleck began his career as a child actor, starring in the PBS educational series The Voyage of the Mimi (1984, 1988). He later appeared in Dazed and Confused (1993) and various Kevin Smith films including Chasing Amy (1997) and Dogma (1999). Affleck gained fame when he and childhood friend Matt Damon won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting (1997). He then starred in high-profile films including Armageddon (1998), Shakespeare in Love (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001), Changing Lanes (2002) and The Sum of All Fears (2002). After a career downturn, during which he appeared in Daredevil and the much-derided Gigli (both 2003), Affleck received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Hollywoodland (2006). His directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone, which he also wrote, was well received in 2007. He then directed, co-wrote, and starred in The Town (2010). For the political thriller Argo (2012), which he directed and starred in, Affleck won the Golden Globe Award and BAFTA Award for Best Director, and the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award and BAFTA Award for Best Picture. In 2014, he starred in the psychological thriller Gone Girl. Affleck will portray Batman in the DC Extended Universe, commencing with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and next in Suicide Squad (both 2016), and will direct, write and star in Live by Night in 2017.

I was watching Gone Girl and Googled Ben Affleck and realized that his politics are as bad as this movie.
I will not be watching anymore (cheesy-his words) Ben Affleck movies. Whydon't you put on one of those diaper pins and hug Michael Moore. Birds of a feather-you know the rest. Good luck and happy life. You all lost!!!

When I heard you were going to play Batman/ Bruce Wayne I thought; "oh no... worst choice in a long series of bad choices for my favorite Comic book, television, movie character, my hero, Batman. This is such a horrible idea. Total miscast." I am one of the biggest Batman fans I have ever met. A TRUE fan. And I was wrong. This was the best direction Batman has ever been taken in onscreen. Even when the writing has sucked (and at times it certainly has) and the directing, you've pulled it off truer to the comic, the mythology, while still adding value and depth and ... BEST BATMAN EVER. The suit is by far the best ever, the voice, Wayne... everything. You do some other stuff pretty good, directing especially. Wish they'd give you some more stuff to do with this character and these movies. Please don't leave.

Hey, you're a great actor and writer, but I was honestly skeptical when I first heard you were going to play Batman back in 2015, mainly because I am a Batman fan first and foremost, with movies taking a close second (I'm a nerd). But you were the saving grave of Batman V Superman, and I was really only tuned in when you were on screen. You nailed it man, and you are my favorite Batman of all time! That's coming from a die-hard Batman fan! If you feel discouraged about it, screw the critics, you can make cinema magic, man! I like all of your movies, even the smaller part you had in Extract - Your character was my favorite comic relief in that film. Anyway, have a good day! Chin up! Be the Bat (If you want to, of course).

I have been a fan of you as Batman from the beginning. Told all my friends “this is going to be great!” Some agreed, others didn’t but we all agree now.....you have to keep being Batman! Your so awesome at it! You look like him, sound like him, it’s like watching the Kevin Conroy Batman from the cartoons! If anyone has ever watched batman beyond I think they could agree that your Batman seems like he is that Bruce just a few years younger. You do such a good job with the charter and it seems like the writers are finally writing him im a way that makes him seem like he’s smart enough and skilled enough to play on the same level as the other superheroes. I really hope you keep playing him and that they come up with a script that you feel good about. Sincerely Benny Blu

I am a Boston girl and a big fan of Ben Affleck. Alcoholism knows no difference in who it affects. It is an insidious disease and relapses are not uncommon. It is a life long battle to stay sober and cannot be done without first self acceptance of your illness and support needed to move forward with recovery. It is not to be judged by anyone who has not suffered with alcoholism. Best of luck Ben. You can do it! 😀

Would you allow violet to date someone twice her age when she becomes old enough? Think real hard before you answer. So why are you dating someone young enough to be your daughter?

Mr Affleck can you please thank your mother as she is inspiration to a woman like me. She raised 2 boys alone as I do & she gave everything to them so they could be who they are today. Without this amazing lady behind them, we may have never known your true potential. Because of this amazing lady, you are strong, humanitarian, wise with great soul as she provided you with the tools in order for you to build yourself not just as a great actor but writer, humanitarian, father, friend and as a great man. So thank this beautiful lady, your mum who is strong and loving. Take care Mr Affleck. Wishing you well from Ireland. Remember you don't need to be batman you are already a hero to many unfortunate in this world
