Anne came to prominence after playing Mia Thermopolis in the Disney film The Princess Diaries and in its 2004 sequel. Since then, Hathaway has appeared in films such as Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Havoc, Love and Other Drugs, The Dark Knight Rises, and Les Misérables. She has also starred in The Devil Wears Prada (2006) with Meryl Streep and in Becoming Jane (2007) as Jane Austen. Her performance in Les Misérables earned her rave reviews and several accolades, including the Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
In November 2008, Hathaway began dating actor Adam Shulman. The couple became engaged in November 2011 and were married on September 29, 2012, in Big Sur, California in an interfaith Jewish and Roman Catholic service.

The only one 'White Privileged" is you and your Hollywood elite friends. I was a big fan, not now. Where do you feel you have the right to speak for people like me that have to work 50 hours a week just to pay rent. You all live in your mansions and feel you have the need to pretend to know how the working class live, shame on you. All of you sit behind your walls with your security guards and look at us through your rose colored glasses and not see what is really happening. I hear nothing for you great crusaders when a white person is killed by a person of color, hypocrates. You care about your image not the truth. Save it, the people who live in the real world are not listening.

Anne just lost me as a fan
What a a shame that Anne will lose me as a fan. I’ve always loved her work. NO MORE! She is obviously drinking the elitist coast koolaid. She completely disgusted me with her current remarks and continues to use her Hollywood status as some sort of stand that sounds ridiculous. Keep digging the divide even more Anne, you should be ashamed and move out of the country. I will never watch another show or movie with you ever!
