Short bio:

James Joseph "Jim" Parsons was born in 1973 in Houston, Texas, and was determined at a very young age to be an actor. After graduating from high school, Parsons received an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, and during this time, appeared in 17 plays in 3 years.

In New York, Parsons worked in Off-Broadway productions and made several television appearances. In a 2003 Quiznos commercial, Parsons played a man who had been raised by wolves and continued to nurse from his wolf "mother". He had a recurring role on the television show Judging Amy and appeared on the television series Ed. Parsons also had minor roles in several movies, including as a nerd-like person in Garden State and School for Scoundrels.

His breakthrough role is, of course, Sheldon Cooper on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. He has received several awards for his performance, including the Television Critics Association award for the highest individual achievements in comedy, the National Association of Broadcasters Television Chairman's Award for a significant breakthrough in a specific art discipline, three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy.

I asked my daughter who is 11 and will use any excuse to have
a party what she would like for supper to celebrate "Sheldon's" birthday.
She didn't hesitate to say spaghetti with hot dogs cut up in it. That along
with strawberry milk and Super Mario playing on You Tube rounded out
the evening.I was looking at us wondering if anyone else in the universe
were doing the same thing.

Does it feel weird being gay in real life and having to kiss a girl on screen? And are you actually that smart in real life and do you actually have a bathroom schedule with your husband?
