Short bio:

Drew Barrymore (born February 22, 1975) is an actress, author, director, model, and producer. She is a descendant of the Barrymore family of well-known American stage and cinema actors, and is a granddaughter of actor John Barrymore. Barrymore first appeared in an advertisement when she was eleven months old. In 1980, she made her film debut in Altered States. In 1982, she starred in her breakout role as Gertie in Steven Spielberg's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and quickly became one of Hollywood's most recognized child actresses, going on to establish herself in mainly comic roles.

Following a turbulent childhood which was marked by recurring drug and alcohol abuse, and two stints in rehab, Barrymore wrote the 1990 autobiography, Little Girl Lost. She successfully made the transition from child star to adult actress with a number of films including Poison Ivy, Bad Girls, Boys on the Side, Scream, and Everyone Says I Love You. Subsequently, she also starred in romantic comedies, such as The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. She starred in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her syndicated talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.

Barrymore is the founder of the production company Flower Films. It produced several projects in which she has starred. She launched a range of cosmetics under the Flower banner in 2013, which has grown to include lines in make-up, perfume, and eyewear. Her other business ventures include a range of wines and a clothing line. E. P. Dutton published a collection of Barrymore's autobiographical essays in a book titled Wildflower in 2015.

I don't believe this will ever make it to your eyes, but I need to say that you're an icon in my universe. I have to say first off...Ever After is always at the top of my must watch movies. I'm reluctant to admit that my spouse doesn't find the movie quite as enticing...but it will always be the top 1 at the top 3 of my "stay-at-home" movie pics. It has been such an influence in my family. I come from a line that's not easily transparent, and your role in this film brought hope to us. It brought us together. It made us realize that no matter where we come from, family is family....and family transcends any boundaries put in place by pre-existing notions of what family means.

I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for being you.

Thank you for taking on everything that entails being apart of what it means to be an amazing actress.

Sincerely,

Erica Lottes

Hi Drew, I've been a fan for a very long time and yes my favorite movie of yours is Irreconcilable Differences. I've been watching your show, it took a bit to watch because they didn't have the right time to show it, I guess because it was a new show.
But any ways you and I share the same birthday and yes I love saying my birthday with all the 2's in it,
here's my birthday 2-22-62.
Ms. Barrymore I know its a lot to ask but is it possible for you to say happy birthday to me on your show. If not then I understand no problem.
I hope you see my message before our birthday.
Thank you very much for reading my email.
Inez.

Love your show but find you flipping your hair around is very distracting and quire honestly, annoying. It comes across as vain. Please stop doing it, your hair is lovely enough without doing this. Sorry, don't mean to be insulting.
