Short bio:

Sia Furler (born 18 December 1975), known professionally as Sia, is an Australian singer, songwriter, and music video director. Musically and artistically precocious, Sia became interested in performing in the style of musicians including Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Sting. In the mid-1990s, Sia started a career as a singer in the local Adelaide acid jazz band Crisp. By 1997, when Crisp disbanded, Sia released her debut studio album titled OnlySee on Flavoured Records in Australia. Following the event, Sia moved to London, England and provided lead vocals for British duo Zero 7.

In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music's sub-label Dance Pool and released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year. Displeased with the promotion of the record, Sia signed to Go! Beat and released her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. Dissatisfied with the project's struggling to connect with a mainstream audience, Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and began touring across the United States. Sia released her fourth and fifth studio releases, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, which was preceded by the top-ten single "Chandelier".

Hi Sia, you literally saved my life. I was in active addiction, and I was really at rock bottom when I saw a documentary on TV with you talking about how you got clean, and I literally cried and cried because I heard my story coming out of your mouth. So I went online to NA, and I just walked in the rooms and now I just turned 10 months. I can't thank you enough for giving me back my life had it not been for you I would still be out there because I didn't know where to go or what to do. You gave me hope. So for that I will be forever grateful. God bless you.

Hello Sis I love your style because your so bold and your singing so inspiring and heart felt as well as my daughter. My daughter is thirteen years young and she is still at the age where she is finding herself and she too doesn't care what people say or think and I encourage that I hope that by me sending you this email you could please find time to write my daughter her name is Starr Solis and that would just truly make her day seriously.

I just hit rock bottom literally. God or something told me to contact you. I’m getting sober right now.

I was a happy 42 year old women who married the love of her life only to find out three months old through a fluke that I had stage 4 colon and liver cancer. Our world and happy marriage suddenly came to a halt. We were planning on having a child together. I still thought there may be hope after my liver resection surgery to find out 6 months later the cancer had come back. Now after a 2nd surgery, ( thankfully they got all the cancer) I am alive but the marriage is at odds. We love eachother so much but I cannot give him what he wants most and I feel so broken and dead inside. He wants to leave but Cannot face living his life without me and I have to live with myself that I also cannot live without him, even though I am holding him back. We are caught in this whirlwind of love and despair. Its so beautiful and tragic at the same time. Your music as really uplifted me during this process of pain and healing. It has given me inspirition to keep on going. I wonder if you would write a song about our situation? Who knows but I feel so many out there in love and hurting could relate.

My 7year old (now 8year old) wrote sia back in February and has not received a response 8 months later. She still looks for "sia mail" every time we go to the post office. I feel so bad for her as she idolizes sia. I'm still hoping maybe she will respond, but losing faith as time goes on.

Not only do I love listening to you, and my mom, but my cat Yogi seems to get very happy and relaxed when he listens to your music. He likes listening to other music too, but doesn't seem to get as blissful as he does when listening to yours. You are an amazing, talented singer, with an amazing voice for literally all to love.

Hi. I just wanted to say Candycane lane is one of the best Christmas songs i've ever heard. It puts me in the Christmas spirit, it makes me want to be a better husband and father. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm fighting some personal problems right now, but the energy I get from your music is so emotional. Thank you again so much.

Just wanted to share that Elastic heart was my cancer song during my treatment in 2018. I'm fine now and just feel so bonded to that song. You seem like a good person. One love.
