Hi Angelina, I didn't know how to send correspondence to you, so I hope you don't mind this form of communication. Although I admire your film and actress work, this is not the reason for my message. I just recently discovered that I am also a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, and when I saw your advocacy on some documentation I had received, it felt me connected to you in some way. We are of approximate age in relation, and I just wanted to thank you for bringing forth this information in order to assist others such as myself with more informed decisions. I was also diagnosed with breast cancer this year, which brought us to this point of genetic testing. I truly believe, had it not been for yourself, the public would not be made aware of the effects of this genetic mutation. For this I have you to thank, for my doctor recommended the test to be conducted in light of a celebrity diagnosis in 'Angelina Jolie'. I hope you are well. My sincere blessings for continued health. Hi Angelina, I just wanted to say 'be strong' and dont let idiots like chat show hostess 'Wendy# make you fell bad, shes not worth it, i know how isolating divorce can be, friends you both had dont want to know so theyre not accused of 'favouritism', and others just done want to get involved, your true friends will be there for you and with you whenever you need them, and they are all you need, i love your work both on and off screen, i have always admired you and see you as a strong capable woman who needs to man to feel validated, so dont let nastys like Wendy or anyone else for that matter get you down, just remember who you are and what you have achieved and im sure that will make you feel better, it should, i wish i had accomplished even half of what you have in my life, anyway, all the best and keep your chin up, theres no one worth your tears or depression, so rise above them and love the ones who matter to you and forget the rest. keep up the good work Ang, and take care, love to the kidsxxx.Your firend.Anne.
