I know Hunger games was such a huge hit and they are now making movies from it. But could you rethink gregor the overlander? I love the stories maybe add to them? I love them and have reread every one of the books more then 3 times my favorite one if the last one. Maybe had another series....Boots the overlander...maybe she goes back? maybe she actually does remember temp and the underland........If you don't make a series..maybe a movie of them? ( I bet the will get more hits then hunger games)

A huge fan

I know writing books takes lots of time but I would love it if you could write more of them. The gregor the overlander series is the best series I have ever read but I think it would be even better with more books in it. I like the idea of Boots the overlander that luxa mentioned above so that is defiantly something to consider. If you do get around to doing that, please make references to the old characters. That would be even greater. Overall, I think that you are a great author and that you should add on to the gregor the overlander series!

Understanding Luxa's feelings, I too agree that the Underland chronicles was one of the greatest works ever penned, coming purely from a teenage boy who loves fantasy and pays homage to entities that God-fathered my creativity. That being said tho, the Underland chronicles wouldn't translate well to the big screen. Unless you had the capabilities to make Ripred, Ares, and the rest of the creatures from the Underland live up to their portrayal in the books. But yeah I wish I could get in touch with Suzanne Collins so I could personally thank her and tell her about my experiences. Thank you!

I'm laying in bed right now sobbing. This is my second time reading Gregor the Overlander and every time it gets me. I always have to cry because it's to hard for me to comprehend Gregor never ever being able to see Luxa again. I need you to write a sequel!!! PLEASE LET GREGOR AND LUXA BE TOGETHER FOREVER!!!!! I'm begging you!!

I do agree with you Ava. Gregor and Luxa should be together forever to the end but, I want Suzanne Collins making more books about Gregor and the Underland Chronicles. You see i got a idea of making a book 6. It will start from the ending of book 5 and Gregor will ask his mom and dad can he stay in the the Underland. I wanted them to say yes so he and Luxa can be together. So, after he comes back to the Underland he should be going on adventures with Luxa. Suzanne Collins please read this and make a new books about Gregor the Overland please. I just dont want this series to end. It makes me think about life when it ends. PLEASE make more books.

If Suzanne Collins decides to add another book to the Gregor series, it would not be to hard. There is already a basis for a sixth book. It could be based around Gregor and his family coming down again (obviously), and as previously said by another fan, defend themselves from the cutters. Please, Please, Please!!! Write another book to finish off the series!!!

Please write more books in the gregor the overlander series. It would be a great book no matter how it goes. I like the idea of Boots going back to the underland and I also like the idea that gregor goes into the underland again and he fights the cutters. I love the books so much that me and my friends make quizzes for each other about your books. Your books are the only books I read. They are amazing. Please make more! Please Please PLEASE make more!

I love the hunger games series!! They are definitely My favorite books! You are amazing. I would absolutely love it if you would Please please please rewrite the series in Peeta's perspective!!! Everyone loves Peeta and I'm sure a lot of people agree with me that they don't want their reading pleasure to be over just yet...

I wish I could talk to Suzanne Collins and convince her to write them from Peeta's perspective. I've reread all of them 7 times and I need more. Or maybe if you don't do it from Peeta's perspective you could do something about Panems history or more about in between the very end Mockingjay and the Epilogue

I would love to know peetas perspective. There are so many questions I have that need answers. I wish I could have a hour to sit with Suzanne Collins just to ask questions. I have so many times went back and said well who did it? What happened? What about the kids? How did things change in Panel in between? Omgoodness the list goes on!!!

She can wright a book revisiting the history of panem and where the meaning of mockingjay comes from or even feature the first mocking jay that unsucsesfully led the rebelion of 13 and also show how the capitol came to making the hunger games . The other thing she can do is wright a book on the 73 hunger games that we have not read of she can maybe find a book amongst the ruiens or be given the book because she is the mockingjay or get it in her nightmares and start looking for answers thats when peeta comes with the idea of visiting the old arenas that the capitol kept . Then there is the promise of another book that she started by coin and the remaining victors voting for another hungergames but with the capitols children . Another book posibilaty for her is to tell us how the capitol became so powerful . And what happens to katniss children and gale . please since i want more books and im sure you do to . I apologise for spelling erors my english is not so good yet . A despirate bookworm Amy

I so much agree with a hunger for more Hunger Games books. It would be nice to read more books what is telling the story of how Panem happened. What happened on the Dark Night 76 years ago. What happened in District 13, also what happened with Peeta, Katniss, Gale and Johanna after Snow was defeated in more detail. It could be like Star Wars. The middle was written and after that the beginning and the end :) I started to read Hunger Games again for the 10th time maybe, while I never do repetitions since there is so much to read, see, etc. So, please? :)

I too agree with Stephanie but try changing the end by keeping primrose everdeen alive and have a happy ending

From a true fan who loves your writing and got to engrossed and at a point imagined himself as Katness and felt her pain when primrose was killed.

And try continuing the hunger games series please they are awesome

How could you continue series from a happy ending? It's not possible or it is but it wouldn't be as great cause what would you write about? How Katniss and Peeta got more kids? You just cant continue the hunger games trilogy. But they were and are amazing books!!

well you can start by writing the books from either Peeta's or Gale's point of you though I personally prefer Peeta. It would be a good way.

I can't even begin to describe how much I love the Hunger Games series. I read quite a lot and have never been affected by a story this much.
The way I see it, the series was written as a lesson about history, war and humanity. It has made its point and it couldn't be more perfect. You can't improve this, it would just betray the point of the books.

Yes! I totally agree! I even cried when she "blow up"! I have a younger sister and I felt the pain! (She didn't die) But I agree with your opinion. Prim should have been kept alive! At least that the book has a happy ending. And yes, Suzanne you should make more books! Maybe from other peoples perspective. THANK YOU FOR WRITING SUCH AN AMAZING SERIES!

AGREE!!! And sometimes i was thinking if there's no other way for Suzanne to rewrite the series in Peeta's maybe us(the fans) could make a "fanmade" series from Peeta's point of view.. Who knows we can meet Suzanne and helps us to do something about it
I really hope that can happen. Will be a lot of fun to meet, or talk about the stuffs we love together with the other fans.

I know that everyone is asking this, but I really want you to make another one from the Katniss's daughters perspective. You could make it to where Snows granddaughter took over Panem and is forcing the rebels children to go back into the Hunger Games, but the rebels with more important roles or had more impact on the Capitol during the Rebellion have their names entered more times. Ultimately leading up to the daughter going back in at the age of...13? The boy wouldn't be old enough, but then Katniss and Peeta would have to be the mentors. Please, I'm begging you make another one.

I was wondering.... Did the story of Joe Hill (songwriter/migrant worker/activist) inspire you to write - The Hanging Tree? I definately see a parallel in his hanging and the lyrics to the song in your book. I was just curious. Thank you for any time you might give me.

Dear Suzanne,
I have read all of the hunger games books and it has become a bit of an obsession, it would mean so much if you could write 3 shorter novels explaining everything but in Gale's point of view, & another 3 of Peeta's thoughts. If you could do that i would love them! :) I've always been wondering what went through Gale's mind when Peeta kissed Katniss, and what went through Peeta's when it was Catching Fire especially. Many people i know and seen really want these to happen.
Thank you for your time,

Suzanne, i think you might want to consider making a 6th book in the Underland Chronicles. You did a great job crafting the sieres and the charecters, and you ended it with us wanting more. I and alot of your fans would agree, that a 6th book would be awsome.

All of my friends dislike me for continuing to like Gale. I would like to know if the hunger games series is a metaphor for our economy? And if you still meant for Gale to be a loved character? I know he messed up, but people should have second chances! Though he did kill her sister and didn't apologize, but who could apologize about killing someone's sister? Who could apologize for something like that in a situation so dire? I really want to hear these answers! Thank you, your work is very well put together, -Kenzie

You are the first person here that seems to have uncovered a main message in this amazing series of Hunger Games....the metaphor for our eocnomy. I cannot speak for Suzanne Collins, yet I do recognize she is anti-war. She learned to be from her father, who was a victim (American soldier) in Vietnam. There are MANY stark metaphors throughout the entire books and the movie. Of not merely the American economy, but our culture itself of glorifying war. how be blow it up in the media with "honor" and make it all look so entertaining and for the "social good". Yet, this message is lost onto so many people, since we are a violence for profit society under deep deceit of a capital and powerful elites. As negative as this sounds...its realy, not Sci Fi! I believe the Author is so good at showing, not telling, but wants this main message out to our next generartion. In this, I adore her even more than her fabuous creativity with her writing!

Thank you for this comment. I can't agree more. The Hunger Games series to me, even though it is fiction, is more a lesson in history and the cost of war. And the divide between the elite and the people, the powerful and the powerless, and all the psychology behind each individual's motivations and actions.
I can't stop re reading it. No other books I've ever read even come close to this level of addiction. I think it should be read in school, so that children get to think not only about the cost of war, but also our individual responsibility as members of any society not to give up our civic duties lest we suffer the consequences.

I thought that Gregor the overlander was and awesome series and I don't have a series that I like more and I think that a new book should be made. There was a lot of talk of the uncharted lands and maybe a new creature could be added and they find new prophecies to face with Gregor

As the mother of a tween, I was at first reluctant to read your books or see the movies, knowing its teens killing teens. Until I heard firsthand (from a teen!) about the main message Hunger Games tries to portray. When I realized it is anti-war, I took notice.

So I read....and watched, and fell nothing short of mesmorized by the sheer talent you hold in the "show don't tell" writery thing. All the metaphors are there. The capital glorifying our culture of violence for entertainment and profit. Our war torn economy, played out like a violent video game. Innocent teens decorated as "brave heroes", rather than the victims of political violence they really are. The media & TV parading them with glitzy glory and "honor", the people clapping in the audience analogous to people saying thank you, with the same cognitive dissonance.

I realized, just as you offer a bleak vision of war that is personal to your experience as a child within your beautifully written children's books, ditto with the bleak vision of war you paint in Hunger Games.

Yet I do such a great job at the show don't tell tactic, if the main message is lost onto too many people? Perhaps one last splash in this thrilling trilogy which tells it like it is? America now, an increasingly dystopian cloud over the capital, as the people cheer on our war games for profit?

Suzanne you are one of the best authors I've read. I think Stephen King could take some pointers from you. I like the way you spin a tale that moves at a good clip. You give the reader just enough detail and keep the story line moving. Loved, actually adore the Hunger Games, so I bought the Gregor series. Fabulous writing. A movie is a must. Truly brilliant.
