Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Show Premise:

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or simply Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., is an American television series created for ABC by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, based on the Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division), a fictional peacekeeping and spy agency in a world populated with superheroes and numerous supernatural phenomena. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The series is produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and Mutant Enemy Productions, with Jed Whedon, Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell serving as showrunners.

The series revolves around the character of Phil Coulson, with Clark Gregg reprising his role from the film series, and his team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, who must deal with various unusual cases and enemies, including Hydra and the Inhumans. Joss Whedon began developing a S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot following the success of his film Marvel's The Avengers, and Gregg was confirmed to reprise his role in October 2012. The series was officially picked up by ABC in May 2013, and also stars Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge, with Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki joining during the second season. Several episodes directly crossover with films or other television series set in the MCU, while other characters from MCU films and Marvel One-Shots also appear throughout the series.

Production History:

After The Walt Disney Company purchased Marvel Entertainment in 2009, they announced that a Marvel Television division was being formed. In the following months, various pilots based on comics from Marvel's catalog went into development. In July 2012, Marvel Television entered into discussions with ABC to make a new series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though at that point it was undecided what it would be. The series was described as "'a kernel of an idea' with a number of scenarios being explored, including a high-concept cop show." The next month, it was announced that Marvel's The Avengers director Joss Whedon, creator of other popular television shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly, would be involved in the series' development.

In August 2012, ABC ordered a pilot for a series called S.H.I.E.L.D. to be written and directed by Joss Whedon, with Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen also writing. Disney CEO Bob Iger greenlit the series after watching the Marvel One-Shot short film Item 47. In April 2013, ABC announced that the series would be titled Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and it was officially picked up for a full season in May 2013, with a second season renewal coming in May 2014.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs in the United States on ABC and has been licensed in 155 countries and territories. CTV announced in June 2013 that they hold the broadcast rights for Canada. On August 22, 2013, it was confirmed that Channel 4 would air the show in the United Kingdom. In Australia and New Zealand, the show airs on Channel 7 and TV2, respectively.

Hi I'm Madison and I'm 14 years old turning 15 on September 10th.My favorite characters on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are Jemma and Daisy (Skimmons Forever).I never really get to do anything for my birthday because my parents spend all their money on my sisters birthday's so I was hoping that maybe either of them or both of them could maybe come to Orlando Florida for maybe a day or 2 and hang out with me it would make my life so amazing. Also I had this idea for the show.An inhuman character named Max Boswell is introduced to Daisy and they develop an unexpected friendship with each other. But Max doesn't just have any normal power like Daisy, she's able to absorb the power of any inhuman she touches for a limited amount of time.I already have a script for it on my computer so if you want more information please email me.
Thank you for your time.

Dear Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast and crew. I am a resident of India and has been a fan of marvel for years and I have followed every development of MCU since iron man 2008 and since your show started I am very happy with the storyline progresses and the way you relate to the movies and how every character plays their part. I know it would be very difficult to get in the skin of the character so thanks for making a show which delights the marvel fans and you guys are marvell and fantastic. Please don't cancel the show. Looking forward to your return in September.
