"Finding Neverland" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
Freddie Highmore was born in London on Valentine's Day in 1992 to a "showbiz" family. His mother, Sue Latimer, is a talent agent whose clients include Daniel Ratcliffe; and his father, Edward Highmore, is an actor. Highmore's career began with small television parts when he was 7-years-old. But in 2004, his big break came in the movie "Finding Neverland" with Johnny Depp. Highmore received several nominations and awards for the role of Peter Davies, including a Broadcast Film Critics' Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. It's reported that Johnny Depp loved him so much in that role, that Depp recommended Highmore for the film "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Currently Highmore plays Norman Bates in the TV series "Bates Motel," a prequel to the Alfred Hitchcock film "Psycho."
