"While the music of Imagine Dragons is emotionally revealing, there is one small fact the band has chosen to keep to themselves: the true meaning behind their name. On more than one occasion, the guys have mentioned how the Imagine Dragons moniker is actually an anagram made from the letters of different words. They’ve also made a point of keeping those original words a band secret, which has lasted for the four years since they got together."

Imagine Dragons has changed me in a way I cannot describe. I thought that fan-girling was just for people of the ages 12-16 however, I've proven myself very wrong. I am a true firebreather down to the core. You mentioned the anagram being "Imagine Dragons" I like to think it is "Ragged Insomnia" I sure hope I am right considering I have this as a sticker on the back of my new vehicle I received for my birthday, and ways, I think the guys came up with the band name "ragged Insomnia" ... you get insomnia from playing music constantly and becoming a perfectionist at every beat can keep you up all night long and drive you insane. Thus Imagine Dragons

Most of the band members of Imagine Dragons appear to be in their twenties. A time when one is generally happy with life, enthusiastic and exuberant. Why then are so many of their songs sad and cynical? Is all the depression genuine or is it just (horrors) an affectation??

Hey there!
I'm actually on a bit of a mission here, I've never seen this site before :) I am hoping to get a tattoo of some of Imagine Dragon's lyrics for my 21st birthday and would really love to ask Dan Reynolds to write them in his hand writing! I had left a message on the band's instagram but I'm worried they dont actually see anything there :( If anyone could guide me in the direction of a band email or something to grab their attention, that would be the THE COOLEST BDAY PRESENT EVER!

PLEASE go to Team Reid on Facebook and watch the video of this 6 year old boy fighting cancer. He just had radioactive injections and his mom posted his video to your song, it is touching and amazing! He even knew the words!! He is our amazing super hero! I am asking to please take a moment. It is so precious.

Hey! I'm a huge fan of imagine dragons. All of their songs are so enlightening, deep, meaningful. So I had a thought. After writing my book about the multiverse, which is deep, meaningful, and possibly enlightening. I think it would be incredible, amazing, and beautiful, if they were to produce a song about the multiverse.

Dan Reynolds,
I just want you to know that you have inspired me in so many ways it is hard to name them all.

The main reason I am writing this is to thank you for this song in particular..... I am a person from a rough background and was always thinking the wrong way concerning whether I was going to amount to anything or be what I was told I was going to be which was a nothing.

This song came out at the perfect time because on June 16th I Graduate with an AAS in Network Administration and Design.
This song speaks exactly to the way my frame of mind has been these past three years. A great example and I am not afraid to say this, I failed math 3 times and the point is I did what ever it took to pass that class and let me tell you the adrenaline rush when I did pass it was like you said and the breaking these chains (not giving up at all) is why I did not stop
Just know you inspire me and please keep it up the music is some of the best I have heard in some time.
Thank you
I would love to know that you read this but I know you are busy,
this is the life
again thank you and keep up the great music

Hey imagine dragons!
I was wondering if any of y'all are fans of the video game franchise Halo? If you go to a section of youtube, you'll find halo scenes with your music with them. The music goes surprisingly well with it! It seems as if you have made numerous references to specific halo characters in a number of your songs. My sister and I are huge fans of both halo and your band, so it would be legit if y'all were also fans of halo!

Thanks, can't wait 'till November for the ATL concert!!!!
